I got in the stand this morning at 6:15. At 7:20 5 does came in, it took me about 10 minutes to get a clean shot. I hit her in the heart quartering slightly away and broke her right leg on the way through.
She went 45 yards and dropped. The weird thing was the other four does (three fawns and a huge matriarch doe) wouldnt leave her side.
It started to rain hard so I shewed them off and claimed my prize. She weighed 129 at the butcher shop. This was by far the fattest doe I have ever shot.

Cell phone pic, I'll post another later when I wake up.

Does it make you feel good when you check it in or drop it off at the butcher that they are not ready for deer yet. I took my 127 lb doe at 8:05 and checked her in at 10. They had to open the tags and papers.
She followed a red fox which I had in my sights at 25yds, blew and I found her at 28 - 30 yds. Neither one knew I was there. Slightly 1/4 to me, double lunged and out the back of the rib cage. went about 80yds for a 40yd drag to the quad trail. With the impact wound high and out through the gut the blood trail was not as heavy as I thought it might be. The exit wound was plugged with internals so that blocked the blood. I heard her go down and I must of had enough blood.
