It is straight from the kitchen when the worlds runnin right !! Used to be a small DQ type place on the corner of 53 and 163 near Cheesehaven. They used to sell perch and walleye buckets with fries and slaw, loved that place but that's been a few years.

That had to be a long time ago. I know I went there about 1988 After a fishing trip, and we had our fish cooked up, and it was located where it is now. So you must really be going back.

Fishin2 that place was a restaurant been there for years was sold made into a bagel place now Bassett's owns it and Rickard's can't wait to see what they build there.

Ate takeout meal at jolly rogers Monday and Tuesday.You have to call them to order your meal then 10 min later can show up and park at a space that has a number on a sign that is assigned to the space.Call them on phone again and tell them you are there to pick up your order and which parking space number you are parked at.They come out with order and you pay them.Nobody goes into building.Yesterday I had fish bagged from last year,which they cooked for us.Was delicious.

Hours are 11-8 pm. Drop fish off when you get there, then it takes 15 minutes for them to fry up. Of course with virus you cannot go inside and dine. Just wait in the parking lot. Gonna stop next trip.

We did jolly Roger earlier this year. They were very nice. The fish is great, but let it cool down... It taste better when you don't burn your mouth on it...lol

Was their this past Saturday, and man was it busy. Most people were their after calling and ordering on phone. But brought up fish for them to fry. We tried for like 10 minutes to call to see what we had to do, but the phone was busy the entire time. So my buddy walked up and talked to a waitress who was taking out orders. She said to bring fish up and then they will take our order. So that is what we did. So if you have fish to be fried, just walk it up if they are really busy. Or you maybe their for hours. lol
Yes it was really good, but kind of a pain in the butt to eat it in the truck.

Steve, we also decided to get a fish dinner on Saturday after fishing @ Turtle Creek. We started calling 10 minutes after we left ramp, called 8-10 times and could not get thru. We drove to restaurant and there must have been 15-20 cars in parking lot! My son walked up and talked to someone and they said they were swamped with orders and at least a 1 hour wait. We decided to go home and fry up fish at home. Guess everyone had the same idea. Maybe just bad timing as it was about 1:30pm?

I could not order there on Saturday they said the were no longer taking orders I would have to wait about 1/2 hour I figured if I was in the lot they would take to order but not so I was parked and ready to order oh well maybe next time

I gotcha I just wish if I was in the lot trying to call for five minutes to get ahold of someone then to be told no orders being taken was tough maybe I will go this weekend when it is snowing LOL
