I'm looking to add some Deep Bandits to my arsenal with mostly white sides. I really prefer something with orange bottom. Do you have recommendations for me? I've included a pic of my favorite white-sided bait. Custom by Jake Moore of BaitDoctor.

(I was out solo both Monday and Tuesday afternoon between Kelly's and Marblehead View attachment 350911 . Fairly slow both days for first 90 minutes, then had a fire drill both days. Had multiple doubles both days. Anywhere from 50-80 back consistently caught fish. Ted was hot as was JT's Customeyes, IB Frozen. View attachment 350913

I just sent Jake Moore at Bait Doctor a note on Messenger telling him about this post. (I met him once at a seminar, and we are not buddies, but I do like his Ted bait!) Anyway, here was his response to my message... "Awesome! Thank you man! To this day it is still the slowest selling color for us. But that bait has cashed more checks in tournaments for guys then any other color we have."

 

RC crush is one that is a consistent producer for me .

Not sure of the name, but it had a black head and a mostly white body. Black wonder bread I think. It was on fire for us. We caught 70% of our walleyes on DHJ clowns or that pattern in bandits. Good luck.

 

Bandit calls it fruit dots.

Domka ,lewc dj customs ,hl&s ,off the hook, hi tech customs &wildeye customs last resort jt customs quality isn't there paint doesnt hold up as good as others ton of overspray they dont take off split rings

 

Have any of you tried the Domka crankbait of the month? Where they send you 2 customs every month

Back colors blue , purple or green. Belly colors orange or pink with red throat. Side dots, bars, chevrons, or splotches green, purple ,chartruese, blue or black. On white or pearl.

Pick the ones that look good to you. I'd bet they'll work.

 

by far our best bandit this spring is humble bee Stock color. Its mostly white has black stipes a little orange at the nose. Out fished fruit dots but fruit dots has been producing, and blue chrome

 

Humble bee is mostly yellow in color

 

not the ones I have mostly white I would post a picture but they are all on the boat.

 

newman I just looked on line and you are correct but the ones we have are mostly white when I get a chance I will take a picture, maybe 3 shift in china painted them wrong, my son did order them from bass pro when they were on sale last month for like 5.50 each

It's possible the one penalty box has have faded over time and became much more white.

 

A buddy of mine got a domka custom called underdog. It's white bodied, black stripes with a greenish head (I think) but I can't remember the primary belly color. It wouldn't be the first pick for me. However, I've been eating crow this spring. That bandit has earned its keep so far !!!

 

 

That's it. At first glance I wasn't a believer. Now I may have to get one !!

 

well anyways for me the most important color is the belly and humble bee has a white belly, for us it has cought the most fish this year. I will take a picture as soon as im up to the lake again probably tomorrow.

 

Humble bee has worked for us too over the years.Great stock color.I fish with a guy who docks CIC and I buy fishing gear for him cuss he doesn't charge me for fuel when I fish with him.Sometimes he goes by himself and is too lazy to put out a bag to slow down,so he's going about 2.3mph in idle.He will often put out a humble bee off an inboard unassisted.He doesn't catch alot,but I'm amazed that he does catch bigger fish when most have switched to spoons.
