We talk about the hatch like it is the plague, however there has to be some type of color or pattern that still will produce good fish.
while out last week and a smal hatch developed over night we fished spoons with 30 jets, 60 back. Did fairly well, however caught a lot of sheephead. One would think they would be eating mayflies as well, so obviously the fish are still feeding. But on what?
Any ideas?
Walleye, smallmouth or even perch.
