The boat ramp off christman road on the southern end of the lake can be great for really nice red ears, depending on time of year.
The guard rail along the southern end of the lake on Christman road is good too, there's an underwater channel there that runs through that section and is productive for bass and cats.
Some of the gas well peninsulas can be productive for bass, crappie, gills and even cats after dusk. (The tips of these peninsulas are fenced off... DO NOT cross these fences. It is heavily enforced by ODNR and if they catch you out there they are not sympathetic. I've never crossed one but several years ago I witnessed a guy and his son who did - ODNR fined him big and took his gear!)
The bridge at the southern end of the lake near the bait shop on the corner of Christman and Comet is decent for bass and crappie.
None of these places I've mentioned are any big secret, on any given day they get a lot of activity, but they can all be very productive when fishing from shore.
I have a few secret places I won't name here, but if you shoot me a PM I can give you a few more hints.
