Just a question or maybe a reminder. My wife and I do alot of crappie fishing from the bank. Mostly around O'Shay and in the Twin Lakes area. Why is it that just because we are fishing from the bank boaters feel it necessary to fish the same tree or bush that we are? I've fished many bass tournements over the years and all of them have a 50 yard rule. So why don't we get the same courtesy from the bank. I have a boat and when we are fishing in it nobody bothers us, but from the bank it's a different story. I guess I'm just venting alittle, but over the last couple of weeks we've had people cast 1 foot or less from our lines. I've had a guy hook my line with a crankbait. I'm a very easy going laidback person who just likes to fish with his wife, but this gets annoying. Like most men, when someone feels the need to intrude on my wife's space I get a little defensive. I also understand public water and nobody "owns" any one spot, but as a life long fisherman, lets show others a little courtesy.
Thanks for listening.
