Took my son up to Greenbower for some crappie this afternoon. Before we even got out of the car, he noticed what appeared to be a body floating in the water. There were a few questionable folks up there that had been fishing for a while, but didnt seem to feel the urge to call anyone. I immediately called the cops to be on the safe side.After an hour of chaos and waiting for a rescue boat, thankfully it just turned out to be a naughty doll someone tossed. Theres already some talk going around on some of the Berlin facebook groups about a dead body getting pulled out of Berlin. Thankfully a false alarm, and if anyone is missing their companion, its either now in the dumpster, or stark county jail.

So heres an update on the story. Someone from a berlin facebook group posted a picture ( that i cannot show for obvious reasons) of the same doll he found floating this past Sunday. He notified the DNR about it, but obviously it got swept under the rug and nobody else was made aware, since it was the DNR that launched the rescue boat yesterday.
