Alright I've been fishing Alum & farm pond getting into some crappie , it's Convenient for me as I live 2 min away.... I'd love to get out and try something new this weekend, depending if ice is good this sat or sun.
I live in Westerville: would like to make a trip somewhere sat or sun an make a day out of it, hopefully buddy will join. Stay within or Round the 1.5hr drive mark... Obviously Buckeye or Indian are top of list, shame to say but only been on buckeye ice once and never too Indian (been studying up on posts get an idea of starting spots etc)... Any other suggestions? Would like to just get on a new lake change of scenery an clear the head... Eyes, crappie, perch
Even threw around the thought of an Erie Trip (if ice stays "good"),would have to walk out. If I make it up Id prefer to try an link up with fellow OGFrs or others and follow out.
Sitting here brainstorming as I catch up on an invoice, hell of a busy week ahead, weekend can't come soon enough.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Id plan to fish all day: so suggestions on a midday lunch spot and bait shop would also be solid, like to support the local spots.
