Muskies are going at Westbranch. Pulled quite a few 30-35inch fish the past few trips. All on walleye cranks. Planning on heading out tonight and tomorrow. Here's some pics/video. Good luck to ya if you get out.

Nice job! Awesome fish.

Hey I hate to be a negative nancy but can you please share your experience the next couple trips out. I'm interested to hear if you have a lot more fishing neighbors now that this has been put out there with a specific location listed. Not just being sarcastic here, I'm honestly interested to hear about the impact.

Again, awesome job out there!

Hey nooffseason, the pressure is always heavy at dusk but I fish way later than that and despite all the posts there has been minimal change in the number of people I'm seeing. But for those who came because of the posts well, just trying to spread the wealth, still gotta walk out there.

It was slow tonight. Bagged a low-mid 30inch musky early in the evening.Moved down after 45 minutes (never should've left.) I ended up being called back to help net fish in the same area. The one was an average low-mid 30(still a lot of fun on spinning gear.) The other was a big 43. Beautiful fish. Nice to see them released unharmed. Fished till 8:45. Had a big eye(26-27in fish) chase an x-rap up but couldn't get her to commit. She had some jacks following her. Good luck if you get out

Great video and pics guys!!! I wanted to get out there so bad last night, but couldn't due to the wife having something planned and me having to stay with the kids!!!

Did get out for an hour while one of the kids was at tennis lessons to a small pond. Got my first fish of the year, a 13" bass. It would have been dinner for those muskie!!!

Congrats on the nice fish. I know this is unsolicited advise, but I can't agree more w/ Nooffseason. I remember years ago having the Berlin causeway practically to myself during the walleye spawn, until internet reports turned it into the circus it is now. I don't care if I can catch a limit there, I refuse to fish shoulder-to-shoulder with boats crowding the shoreline within casting distance.
My advise for those who are justifiably proud of their accomplishment and want to post their hero pics for all to see... make the post about the lake without spotburning the exact location. You can have your glory and help others w/out the risk of having your pristine spot overrun by folks not even remotely prepared to handle these beautiful fish in a safe manner. Trophy muskie fisheries in Ohio are inherently fragile like the fish. Enjoy them but respect them.
