I have seen a few nice channel cats pulled from the Tusc. in the last few days. The biggest was around 10 lbs. The guys who were catching them were using livers and nightcrawlers and were fishing close to the bank in the slower muddy water. Actually, the cats seem to be the only thing biting right now in the Tusc. I usually do well for saugeye in September, but I've only got 2 yet this month, does anyone know the secret to catching them right now?

 

Hopefully after the rain the next few days the river will come up a little bit and the cats will get nuts!!
