Your dead on.. You don't see much of it any housing development ponds (that I am aware of). We used to have a pond growing up surrounded by farm fields and we never had a problem with it either. It's easy to blame farmers for things like this but that may just be another cover up or cop out.it would be easier to identify the point source of the problem in a smaller park pond like that.
I would realy be intrested to know if first someone is testing the ponds in those devepments. Second if the high temp. for air and water this summer is haveing an effect.
