After a longer than usual ice season I put my stuff away tonight. Fished a gravel pit today caught some gills some crappie. Ice was great edges were rough. Everyone that’s still fishing be safe they will be there in spring and for all you retired guys good luck in the morning I know dang well you will be out there as would I.We had a great season spent tons of hours with boys and dad couldn’t ask for anything more except a few vacation days lol. Shrimpos were the ticket today black head greyish body with metal flake.

Took a last minute 2 day trip up to interior Ontario Canada w a friend to bring back his snowmobiles, caught a northern pike. A lot of driving but definitely worth it, quite an adventure. A great end to my season. They will definitely be fishing up there for a while yet, my vexilar went green earlier and put to rest for the season. What a great year for Ohio ice, I enjoyed all my trips out and reading all the reports. Hopefully we get another one, until next ice season guys 🧊 🎣
