Just had to share this picture. This is by no means a trophy smallmouth but he looked great suspended in mid air, on the end of my line, against a fabulous sunrise Saturday morning. Fished Ruggles with Pipeliner and a number of "noteable executives" from the OGF Staff and had a lot of fun, especially when Lundy found the sumo sheephead school. A lot of bent rods and many FO farm animals taken. Lewis, as usual, was the expert at hooking the most farm animals. Yes, we did catch some walleye, drank beer and played some pool. :D

Nice bonus smallie Ron.

That was a lot of fun this weekend.

The walleye fishing was hot and heavy on Friday evening and almost non existant on Saturday Morning other than bunches and bunches of the 2003 year class walleye. The walleye fishery will be great for the next few year to come.

The highlight(fishing) was when Lewis, Shakedown and I drifted over the top of the single largest school of HUGE sheephead that I've ever seen in all of my years of fishing Lake Erie. The fun part was catching all of these fish vertical jigging spoons, it was a blast.

A word of caution to anyone coming up to the Hawg Fest. Across the street from the Plantation is a small bar and grill with a pool table. DO NOT play against Shortdrift and Pipeliner in team 8 ball. The only thing these guys do better than fish is play pool. Lewis and I learned the hard way.

Anyone know if Roger is awake yet? : ;) ;) :D :D

Lundy is right...we were suckered..Medina Fatts and Stan "Pipeliner" Mosconi took us to school at the pool table. :D
Friday's Walleye fishing was hot...the beer was cold and the company was good!

I had enough fun for THREE people! <at least on Friday> :D

I needed to get away, thanks all for putting up with my drunken stupor Friday night. Had a great time on Saturday, even though we didn't put any quality fish in the boat we still caught plenty of fish.

Tee, Ruminator, and I all fished together and Tee was the only one to boat keeper walleye. He had two nice eaters. I caught about 759 gobies, several white perch, a couple dink yellow perch, two spike walleye, and some of those sumo-sized sheephead. They were FUN and quite a change after all those dang gobies!

Lots of fun, that's for sure. We'll have to get up there again sometime.

I took a quick detour to get away from that...

I made it to the motel and enjoyed some much needed beverages :D ;)

The fishing was kind of slow but it was a great day to be on the lake. We did manage our 759 Gobies :D . Then here is a picture of Big Daddy's BIG Sheephead.....

Medina Fatts...hahaha

GREAT time guys!! Way too short though. Lundy and Lewis sold me on trolling...although we didn't tear the eyes up (we boated only 1 keeper), that motherload of fish ohio sheeps on those hopkins spoons was really a blast. The constant trash fish bite was the only thing that kept me from thinking about how hung over I was :D

As for those pics Tee mentioned...as much as I would like to share them with the world, I have a feeling that the revenge that would come around from those might prevent me from fathering another child :D

I'll PM them to ya Tim!

It was a lot of fun getting the "Team" together and cutting loose a little. Thanks Tee for the fun trip out. We did indeed catch a ton of gobies, the little bait-stealers.
Stan, I can't believe that we were that close and didn't get a chance to say "Hi". ;)
I look about 79 yrs. old in your pic Tee, standing behind Carl.:D
