Our first outing of the year was today, a re-scheduled panfish quasi-tournament. Well, fishing at Mogadore was pretty slow. I got 20 or so fish. We only measured 5 though, and I won the event for the second year in a row. 5 fish(4 gills and a crappie) measurd 41 point something inches total. Actually, it was an "all OGF" leader board with me 1st, cfish102 second, and RONK taking third place.
We fished off Congress Lake Rd and picked a few fish here and there all afternoon. About 4ish, the fish turned on, but only for about a half hour. All I needed though. The 9 1/2 inch crappie put me over the top!
There were several folks out there who fished the sun-up bite and had a bunch of fish. Real nice ones too. One group looked to me like they had well over 40 7 inch plus gills.
