looking to fish Sippo Lake for the first time. Has anyone fished there?
Any restrictions on shore fishing areas? any history?

Sippo is a bowl shape most of the lake is 8ft or less. Only restrictions I know would be not to fish from where the houses are. Most people fish around the marina and dock area. You can also park at the library and walk to that end. Park I think closes at 11pm and library I think 10pm. Nice kid lake. There are a couple really good spots but you need a boat to get to them. Personally I think more fish need to be kept so it thins them and then maybe the gills and such would get bigger. I usually go there with the boat when I have a few hours to spare to wet a hook or take a grandkid fishing. Do you know about Petros Lake?

I've fished it twice at night during one of their tourneys...$5 entry fee n cash award to largest catch of each species. I was there for over 4 hours each time and nada...my buddy was hanging the cats though. Like the guy b4 said mostly cats n bass n carp n there. When I fished the tourney a 7" bluegill and a 9" crappie took the money...nuff said !

Several places to fish At the marina, and on the north and south end of the marina area. Hot bass spot is west side of lake. West of the library there isva stream coming off the lake. West of this on shore is an old building material storage area that still has some chain link fence around it. In the lake near this area is great for bass. Lots of Lilly pads on this lake. I have had good luck on tue west side using seedless frogs off the Lilly pads and soft plastics.
