Fished the South end of the bar with Westwind today. Caught our limit by noon. He made me a believer of Pearl Ghost. of the 12 fish we caught, 8 came on Pearl Ghost, 2 Purple Prizm, 2 Lights out. 2.4-2.6 was the magic speed for us and we ran leads of 150 to 195.

Went N out of Hot waters with parmaangler at about 7 AM. Mostly fished N of the launch and could only put one in the box by 11AM. Harnesses, spoons, stick baits......could not get it going.
Droped parma at the dock around 11:30 and headed back out solo. Found a good bite around 30/17 and added 5 by 2:15. Small dipsy on three, 190-240 back with silver backed spoons. Big orange crush took three fish in 45 minutes.....running a little hot 2.8 to 3.1.

Were you guys just running the reef runners off boards? I thought about flat lining one way back today, but just never got around to it. Looks like maybe I should have.

Great day fishing with you again. A little rough this morning for my liking ( yeah I'm still drying out from the waves over the bow... ), but look forward to getting out there again. I want to see if I can get something going with the cranks, keeps the junk fish off I think.
Nice to see others were doing well, we noticed not many people pulling fish this morning due north of Hot waters. Sounds like the sand bar was the place to be.
