Greetings,

I'm just completing my first year at a corporation which allows me to transfer. Since my manager is far from bi-polar. (She is the most pathetic human being encountered in a long time.) I've already began the job search even though another month and a half will have to pass before transferring. So I'm thinking about purchasing a condo but there is not comprehension to stay close to campus, move to Lewis Center, or move to Westerville. The only problem with moving would represent the inability to access the Olentangy Bike Trail and visits to Ohio State which is adored.

Check property taxes! Have a friend that lives in that area and their prolperty taxes are between 5 and $600 a month!

For bike trails Alum has some really good ones from beginner to advanced. Lots of "family" space all over also.

Good Luck!

I don't always fish for Bass, but when I do, I prefer big'uns. Fish hard my friends....

Thanks for the replies! I'm not too worried about property taxes because I cannot afford anything expensive. It's really problematic being an underemployed university graduate. Ohio State's webpage even stated their graduates with an economics degree typically earn $54,200 but that is just a dream. A family is not possessed either which is a relief after listening to the people within the office. They might never retire unless the lottery is won.

I've fished Alum Creek years ago but you almost need a boat. I've never fished Hoover or even seen the lake. Maybe I'll just stay within downtown Columbus and keep fishing the Olentangy River from my kayak. It's a crazy world and nobody can predict the future. Where ever I might preside there has to be good fishing though!

Since it sounds like you are on a budget, you can find some condos or apartments in northeast Columbus that will be within a few minutes of Hoover, 15 minutes to Campus area and 15 minutes to Alum. Look up around 161, Sunbury, and the Easton Area. Hoover is a good kayak lake and there area access points for kayaks all along the west side of the lake.
