Have seen plenty of pictures of bass and crappie from shore the last few weeks

 

Thanks. I’ll give it a go. Back in jr high my brothers and I would drop a Coleman lantern on a top off the bridge and catch crappie on minnows at night. Usually there was an “old-timer or two there fishing as well. It was a popular spot.

 

It’s still a very popular place each time I drive across the bridge!

 

still recovering from a stroke in January, but would like to wet a line. Nimisila is close by. fishing from shore for now, so I get some bait at Eddies and fish the South end.
Has anyone had some success at Nimmy lately?

With the new bridge they installed a separate sidewalk area out of the road. Not sure what regulations they have for that area, but see people fishing it!
