Does anyone follow mybaitshop.com on Facebook? Or is anyone a member? Collect old vintage lures? I am just curious if this is something to look into. There is a box a month club that for $30 a month they send a box of lures old and new. Sounds interesting if I was a collector. But I generally buy to use even if I do have a large collection and not all my stuff is used. I was just curious is all. This also makes me think back when I was a kid. Me and my buddies use to get together and swap tackle and we called it "wheelin and dealing" lol. I miss the old days. I also wonder if there are any clubs or swap meet kinda things that go on. Where I might be able to offload some of the old stuff that I do get around using anymore. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

I've not used mybaitshop.com but I have subscribed to Mystery Tackle box (now called Karls bait and tackle) and also Lucky TB. Both yielded about the same results, some months good others not so good. I occasionally turn on and off the subscription for the surprise of getting a new box (I know sounds like a little kid), but it makes you try tackle you normally wouldn't buy. Also their cheapest boxes are $15, worth a look if you want to try something different

Google, "holy mackerel flea market" it says its in oberlin ohio, but if i remember right they have an event in PA too. When the outdoor show at the IX center was still going on they had a big booth there with lots of antique lures and other fishing tackle. I think they are or are associated with the "fishers of men fishing club"
