do you know where the leak is? the fill screws washers, the shift shaft seal, the prop seal, and a couple more. it may be simple . you can get 1 seal or a whole kit on line . drop that l u and pressure test so you know where the leak is. ps. drain oil first.

 

i think you get a seal kit when you get the full kit for the impeller replacement. so.... i would suggest just do a full lower unit service along with impeller.

i walked into a local dealer and ordered to make sure i got the right stuff the first time. after that, i just ordered the same stuff online.

 

I'd use marineengine.com or mercruiserparts.com (Bam Marine). Both sites have the factory issued exploded parts views on their site. Use the serial # on your motor to ensure that you're looking up the correct part #'s. The seal kit for the lower unit is usually purchased separately from the water pump parts. Mike
