I know for as long as I can remember westbranch was shotgun only. But try as I may I cannot find anything stating this on any website anymore. Anyone know if this changed recently?

I’m assuming small game? As far as I know they have not changed that rule. It’s impossible to find that written anywhere. I was stopped twice by DNR as a youngster walking near WB on my way to private property with a .22. Was reminded then that it was illegal at WB. That was 30 years ago... I would definitely ask a ranger there before using one. You could go to Berlin and use a 50 cal if you want though.
Any game really. It used to be stated clearly on the odnr website when you looked up westbranch. Something about shotgun only, with the exception for furbearers, you could carry a rimfire for trap lines. I guess I'll just have to call up either the park or the district 3 headquarters.
