AKA - Snot Rock. I have hit the riverbed more than once in the fall as the algae starts to die and decay.

 

I'm starting to walk slower & slower out there. I fell a couple of weeks ago & lost my stringer & fish. My own fault for not having my fish tied to the bucket handle. Luck to save the bucket.

 

attica mine was an invisible rock slab on a slant. i had no chance of recovery. just wham! and i sat there for a bit, stunned lol. luckily it wasnt deep so my waders didnt fill up

 

The other side is camp Libbey, a girl scout camp and all private. All the usual suspects are there at various times of the year. Channels, flatheads, sheephead, carp, smallies, white bass, crappie, pike. The park runs downstream for quite a few miles and gives lots of access to the river along the way.
