How to fish Deercreek

I will have my boat at deercreek all next weekend. I have not done much fishing there before. I know a lot of people use it for recreational boating but can anyone tell me some good places to fish. The people I will be with mainly bobber fish. I know there is a lot of structure around most of the lake, but looking for some good places for the family to catch some crappie/bass.
Also we will probably be catfishing in the evening. Are there any particular parts of the lake to concentrate on?

I haven't been there for a while, but I used to have good luck in the part of the lake where the creek comes in....where it first starts to look like a lake. It is mostly a big shallow flat with the creek channel running through it. There are some spots where the creek channel comes close to the bank that is good..lots of catfish and crappie.

It's all a no-wake zone there.
