If you were in a deep water situation, and wanted to get a spoon down 50 to 55 feet off big planer boards, how would you do it?

True Trip 50's are what I use. You'd need to let out 500' of wire to get there that way.

Tru-trip 40s and 50s are the best method to fish big boards...when them fish drop below 45ft wire is a close second only due to the amount of line needed...
Highly advise you get some tru-trips if you're gonna fish big boards...

The True Trip 50's pull pretty hard and on rough day's I've sometimes had to double rubber band them. You'll be happy you got them.
