I have a Crestliner, mounted mine inside one of the bigger bow storage compartments. Did this so I could access it easily in winter to remove it to use for ice fishing.

 

Where do you run the transducer cable? Did you drill a hole somewhere? I’m probably going to mount it in the little compartment in the nose. Does this make sense?

 

Yes, had to drill a hole near the compartment to get cable into it

 

Actually two holes, one inside the compartment and one by the side. One inside is for power cable and line to locator, the other one is transducer.
