I bought one of these at Cabellas in Avon on Black Friday. They were on sale for $599 plus I had a $50 off $500 coupon. If you opened a credit card it was an additional 10% off that. My thought process is you can’t go wrong with a Garmin! I’m glad to see the posts of you guys who have them and love them! Just got my boat in June of last year and it was killing be not having a gps and fish finder!

Anyone put a swivel mount on the UHD 93SV?
Garmin states a swivel mount isn’t available for the 9”.
I found a Johnny Ray JR-300 swivel mount that should fit the base. Any experiences?
I need to swivel to see the screen when I am in the front seat.

I also bought one for 599. I have it hooked up in the basement and I like what I see so far. The detail on the maps are an improvement over the helix 7 I had. I like that you can shade the different depths if you want and you can draw your own maps if your fishing rivers. Can't wait until spring to get it mounted and take it out.

I pulled the trigger and just purchased one online off the field and stream website for $699 also put in my email and got 10% off with free shipping. Out the door cost was $676. I didn’t get the Black Friday $599 price but with taxes on that price I didn’t end up paying to much more than that sale price. Happy as a pig in **** :ROFLMAO:. Been wanting to upgrade for a while now and inquired about a couple on the marketplace here but people wanting too much for used units. Glad I finally pulled the trigger. As much as I want ice fishing to be here now I can’t wait to try this out!

I got the plus 93sv in 2019 and it rocks, so you should love the uhd version.

I got the swivel mount in today. Looks like it will fit just fine. Johnny Ray JR-300. It has the quick disconnect also. What I really like is it is only 1 1/4” tall. So the 9” screen won’t be 6 or 8” above the side of the boat. Should make for less vibration also.

Got everything installed. Had to move the rod holder mount to make room for the big screen. I have to wait on the warmer weather to install the transducer.
I didn’t realize Lund used to use cedar boards for their boats. I wonder whether they still do or now use something cheaper like white or yellow pine.

I would've done a more sturdy mount for that 9 inch unit...you need a heavy duty mount...that'll come loose over time...even says 'light duty' on it...and mounting it to something other than wood...should've went with a heavy duty ram ball mount...good bit of weight to that 9 inch unit...JMO...basically any unit 9" or above is considered heavy duty.

Don’t care for ram mounts. Those would be my last choice.
And what besides wood would you mount it to? With the aluminum backing plates and the locking washers and nylon nuts, it won’t be getting loose anytime soon.
Heck, my cisco tubes and cradles have been mounted the same way with only 2 bolts and they are rock solid after years of use. There is a lot more torque and stress on the ciscos than a fishfinder. I do appreciate your thoughts though.
