The Scioto is disgusting by Columbus

According to the O-EPA, the healthiest stretch of the Scioto is between 5th Avenue and the Lowhead Dam on 33 (at the Water Plant). That's pretty much smack-dab in the middle of the City (Of Columbus). That's not to say the Scioto up North is in horrible condition, because it isn't, but that stretch can face some nasty run-off issues depending on the time of year/rainfall. Still some good fishing up there, though.

Were the Smallies schooling on shad? Or did you catch them sporadically? Good fish none-the-less!
