Fishing at the islands was challenging this past weekend with most shanties handling a few fish per angler.only knew of a few guys with limits.Quality on the other hand was incredible!Saw and heard of many fish O's taken, luckily 2 of em were caught in my camp.I iced a 10.5 lb female sat eve. on a #5 firetiger jiggin rap,and my buddy keith caught a huge sow that went 10lbs12oz. His was taken on a #6 pimple in blu and chrome.Overall my camp did average with a couple fish per day per person. Ice thickness was over 12 inches between sbi and 'snake with drifting snow making travel difficult but with warmer temps snow will not be an issue and travel will be much easier.Enjoy the pics!:)

Jeff,
Thanks for coming through on your word with a good report and some great pics. That yellow house looks in the same place where we fished last year. I think this class I am teaching at the university the next two weeks may last longer than the ice and I may not get to go this year! After a phenominal trip last year it will hurt not go this year if the ice disappears in the next 2 weeks. Maybe I'll talk to the man upstairs about giving us 8 or 10 days into March, or a fast melt so we can get on those reefs! Congrats on a great trip! Don
