Two of us have been hitting Indian Lake once or twice weekly for the past four or five weeks, using the Flicker Shad program popular this year. We only spend about 3-4 hours in the morning and then get off the water. Friday morning was typical of everyone's results: dink-to-legal ratio being about six to one. We ended up with six 15-17 inch keepers, a couple of healthy white bass, three edible channels and one very grumpy 33 inch flathead. The hope is that everyone has been treating the dinks with TLC so we can catch them again this autumn and the next couple of years when they will be legal (and then some). Only question is whether they will remember what Flicker Shads look (and feel) like.
