I was down there last weekend fishing from the bank for bluegills. I probably caught 20 crappie. They were all around 9" and all very dark males.

Big male Bluegills with in channels looking for eggs. My dad and I got 42 blue keepers and 1 nice black crappie in an hour. Threw 3 other crappie (8-8 7/8) back.
