Launched out of Mazuricks at 630 with WBSA member, Aaron and his buddy Mike. Ran to the honey hole but stayed on this side of border. Lake was really nice. First fish was an 8 lb pig. We hit some slow spells but often had two on at once. fair amount of sheephead but mostly smaller ones. Wind picked up and we had to make a series of passes to get the fish but it was worth it. Probably best grade of fish that I've seen in quite awhile. We had several 6's and a lot between 3 and 6 with just a couple of dinks. Leads were all over the place- 2 oz back 35 to 65 and 3 oz back 30 to 65. Most blades had pink undersides to them and a couple "antifreeze" and chartruese undersides. Speed varied between 1.4 and 1.8.

Nice haul, we ran to that general area yesterday and got a big old skunk on the eyes. First started further south where I found them last week and nothing but sheep so we moved to the area that you had posted last week from 40/33 to 40/30. Very few marks and I think only one sheep even. There was a pack out there that we fished around as well and we never saw a net either so we moved on after over an hour of not one pullback. You must have been doing something different!

Well dunno if anything different..not sure what program you were running but harnesses and inlines did all the damage. I stayed away from the pack...more to the west of it between the 33 and 34 I think. best fish came within a 1/4 mile of the border. A buddy was a tad west of me and he did as well if not better using same program.
