Ive been up there twice in the last week jigging from the 14 bridge and greenbower bridge i think, whatever bridge goes back to Deer Creek. Anyways every single person i saw and there were atleast 20 altogether were keeping any size Crappie didnt matter if it was 4 inches. I used to get checked all the time at Berlin do the wardens not care about the crappie there or what?

Well Ohio has to take some responsibility too! With these lake specific rules. And lack of enforcement too! A lot of people just can't keep p with them all. I know that's not a good reason. But rules should be the same through the state. Their are no limit on crappie or size at all except for special lakes. and lots just cant remember or keep track. I for one will say I try hard. But I don't keep Panfish under 12" any way. But did realize Berlin was included in that either.
Sportsman are to blame also. When a person see's some one breaking the law its their responsibility to report or say some thing. Not to the point of getting shot or something. But a little nudge making sure they know the law.
I learned a long time ago a person who wont "RAT" out some one isn't a good guy. Just a scared one. So se a phone and call the police. But don't go complaining unless your part of the cure. Or that's my opinion and how i raised my kids.

What is so difficult about the site specific regs? There is no need to be able to remember or keep track of all of them. You're given a booklet with the regs when you get your license. If you get it online, then you need to print out the regs booklet too. The site specific regs are only a few pages in the booklet. If anyone can't remember them or aren't familiar with them for the specific water they are going to fish then they need to take a couple of minutes to review them for that water before they go. That's part of one's responsibility in order to be able to fish. If that's too much trouble for anyone then they shouldn't be fishing.
