Does anyone know anything about the spillway below Hoover Dam? Anything to catch down there?

Thanks,

Matt

I think your time would be better spent in the lake. Most good fishing below (as stated already) is earlier in the year. They fish closer down by bridge (central collage?) and use waders to get out to the pools. When the fish are in there it's a first come bases. I tried it a couple of times about 25 years ago (it was walleye then), But the diehard fisherman usualy beat me there. Usualy before daylight. Hope this helps. :)

this time of year you should be able to catch whitebass and some smallies...personaly i have only caught whites... good size between 12"-16"...
i have heard in late july/august you can catch channel cats in the deeper pools.. ive also heard of eyes taken as well. If your set on fishing the creek i would wait a couple of days and fish it above Hoover in Galena....you will have more action up there....with some species spawing in the creek...goodluck! ps...for whities use inline spinnerbait aka.. rooster tail anywhere from 1/16 ounce - 1/4 ounce depending on waterflow....if water is muddy try lighter brighter colors....
