Acton Lake Kayak Access

Think we are going to try Acton lake tomorrow instead of hitting the rivers (due to water levels) Anyone know if there are any nice access areas for a kayak besides the boat ramps? Maybe something by a picnic area? Hope to get an answer tonight as we are heading up early. Anyone fish these out of kayaks or canoes? Hoping everyone is not at the fireworks:)

There is a bank fishing point that stcks out by the island past the beach...It's pretty relaxed down there( as long as your not running anything bigger than a 9.9 that is). I would think you could find someplace to slide a kayak in.

That would be the fishing pier next to Sugar Camp.Directly north of the golf course.Just follow the signs to Sugar Camp.Should be easy access for a kayak.
