150 fish but it took awhile. 10:30 -12 caught 35 perch in 33 fow near the lighthouse. sheeps moved in, so we headed out to 38 fow caught none from 12-1. 1-2 p.m. moved to 42 ft caught few. 2-5:30 moved to 46 fow took the last 110 or so. mostly 8-9 inchers. Gave our spot up to some fellow OGFers who were just getting started . For the day we had 15 jumbos 2 fish ohio and wifey caught a massive nasty fish (well i think this one was some kind of carp it was 30 inches or so) Great day on the big pond .

Nice catch, we had some 11" ones that were fat like footballs yesterday.
The deeper water was the ticket, especially after the sun got up and the rays could penetrate. We had like 30 between 9 and 11 with 3 moves then went deep and finished up 48' between 11 and 2:30 with all the rest. And one 27" eye. Straight out of wildwood over the mussel bed. Hear a lot of radio from 72nd but didn't sound like much. Don't know what they did there.

There's a pretty nice launch at Edgewater. About 2 miles past the Browns Stadium headed West on rt. 2. Follow the signs.

About how far out were you guys? I have a 14.5' Monark and never been on lake erie with it. I'd be interested to try, if the bite is close to the breakwall. I only have a 15hp on it.

I've seen plenty of people out with less. If the lake is not rough, and you have some experience, you should be ok. Most of the larger pleasure boats will not be in yet, so that will help. They throw some pretty large wakes that can shake the you know what out of you. Just watch the weather and have, at least, a handheld radio. You'll need more than a mushroom anchor also.
