Can anyone tell what's happening with the Neilan Blvd detour? I wanted to stop at the lower dam in Hamilton today and Neilan Blvd was shut down all the way down to St. Clair. Is it major or short term? Anyone know how long it will be closed?

I was wondering that myself, it's a pain in the butt. I got this off of the City of Hamilton website.
Neilan Boulevard/River Road between Knightsbridge Drive and St. Clair Avenue will be closed to through traffic from 7:00 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2012. Traffic detours are posted. Street closure is needed for reconstruction of the storm sewer.
