At the WC dam this evening, enjoying a sandwich and checking the river out. A car pulls in and a man gets out carrying a bag, krogers type platsic bag. I didn"t pay that much attention to it really. It was stuffed to the top, I thought it to be a jacket or clothing for someone fishing, but it wasn't. Kinda laughed at his ugly baby blue ear muffs. He proceeds to the mouth of the old dam area and looks around first and then he opens the bag and begins tossing trash in piece by piece by piece untill he finished. I literally watched Tim Hortons coffee cups floating towards me, and pieces of trash floating through the air as he tossed it in and I was infuriated. Not much of a temper controller, I need anger management classes or something, Cause I just wanted to beat him down on the spot. Anyways what can I do? got the jerks license number off his camry!! Just bums me out, blatant disrespect, I have been enjoying the area there for near 30 years and that just went straight thru me. I would have been less mad if he put it in my own yard.

you could have taken a pic, called police with pic and plate, asked him to stop if you felt cofortable with it, or a bad cast with a 2 treble bait might work. In this world today you are taking chances even talking to a stranger, lots of crazy people in this world. you could have just freeked out and acted even crazer than him just start hollering" THATS MY House thats my house" while twiching, then you could have asked for spare change 4 or 5 times.

be carefull maybe call police or wildlife with the plate number.

even better take a **** right next to him he probably would never come back.

i doubt the cops would do anything. if it was me i would have asked the guy what the hell his problem is and taken some pics and told him i was calling the cops. even though they probably wouldnt do anything it still might scare him off from coming back. but on the flip side you never know what kind of crazy you might run into. just reading this post makes me mad so i would have said something but then again my big mouth has got me in trouble before. i always bring a bag for my trash and then pick some up on the way out. i have to stress though what a JACK ASS!!!!

Do'nt wanna cus, but if the police or odnr will not do anything call the local news media. Tv., news paper, hell call cnn i'm sure that if you had pictures it would get on the news and then some one would be pressured to do something then. You will get results when some public official is being asked why they are not doing their job in front of a news camera. I still like the taking a crap in front of them. LMAO

That made no sense, whatsoever, until I played forensic pathologist. I just certified myself to assess this individual. He is likely to have a mental disability and he likes to watch things float down the river. He probably does this on a regular basis and doesn't understand that he is littering.

It's the only thing that makes any sense :)

If it were me, I would have raised so much hell that the guy would have **** his own pants. I would not have touched him unless he made the mistake of taking the first swing but I would have been in his face so loud and pissed off he would remember the experience for the rest of his life. Hell, I threw one of my fishing buddies out of the boat once after a filter cigarette he flipped in the lake and wouldn't let him back in the boat until he retreved it. We all have to be proactive against polluters. Yeah, some weirdo might pull out a gun and shoot me but it is doubtful that he would eat me, too. If we don't stand up to these people, who will?
