Electricity went out at work yesterday for a few hours. I didn't wait around for it to come back on. Walt and I hit WB from about 3:00 till dark.
Total for both of us was three crappie and three rock bass.
Didn't check the water temp but it was turbid as usual.
Bite was very light and you could only feel the fish by jigging the minnow and feeling resistance on the upswing.
Didn't mark many fish like last Friday. The RS bridge was barren even after dark. No fish marked at all. Any fish seen was on the steep dropoffs right off the brushpiles.
They liked the small minnows. Wouldn't touch a medium.
Good news for this weekend-the carp were rolling all over in the shallow bays.
