After reading so much about them in this forum, I picked up a couple of the Slide Diver Lite Bites. Tried them out for the first time this past week and I am basically THRILLED with their performance. Simply put, they ALWAYS trip with ANY fish on the bait. I think the slide feature (i.e., the ability to put the bait further behind the diver) also helped with the catch ratio, although using that feature on the outboard diver is a bit problematic.
These things are CLEARLY a "better mousetrap"!
That said, I'm wondering what other users think of the depth chart. They seem to be diving much deeper than the chart would indicate. For example, trolling in 53-55 feet of water with the slide diver out where it should theoretically be at 40 feet, and it's hitting bottom.
Any advice appreciated!
Thanks,
Mark
