Replacing the carpet in my Crestliner boat. The wood has some discoloration but is solid and I am hoping to put on a coat of epoxy and reuse it. What adhesive would you recommend that would stick to the epoxy or should I not use the epoxy on the top and just seal the sides and bottom?

Contact cement. That's what I use when I do carpet jobs on boats. Works great. No going back though once it's down that's it
