Went out to my buddies lake/pond at 3:00 on 1-6-2010. Started fishing with a gold ant w/black hair and maggots. Water depth was 13 ft. and I was fishing 11 ft. down. I never even got my second pole in the water as I had non-stop action until I quit at 5:45. Ended up with 19 crappie and 60 gills. Totally filled the bucket I brought and even let go 10 or 12 fish. Awesome afternoon and night. Man I love winter!!!

Thanks guys. I forgot to add in my report that the ice was 5'' think. I called another buddy on my way home and fortunately he still had his electric knife in his truck. With two electrics going it only took a little over an hour to clean the fish. Well maybe a little longer if you count the beer and pee breaks.:)
