That is the dillemma I face.... have all the bucks dropped their racks and am I wasting my time in passing on a doe!!! are there still wall hangers out there with their racks still in tact??? has anyone seen any??? just wondering if I should just shoot a doe to fill my tags?

Yes, there are many bucks still carrying antlers. However, if you have more than one tag left, why not fill at least one with a doe? Or, do you only have one tag left? Time's running out so if you want some meat in the freezer, now may be the time to do it. I had two very nice bucks come in last Sunday, right before I zipped an arrow through a nice big doe.
Have also seen a couple nice buck and dad is still seeing his "pet" 10 that he takes corn and apples every day. The way my luck is going this year I would arrow a nice buck just to have his antlers fall off during the drag!

take a look at my post on tagged out and you will see what I decided to do, this late in the game I'd rather fill my tag than see ODNR get a $24 bonus from me. Too bad you just cant carry over a tag for next season if you didnt fill it.......but then where would ODNR get its money????

yeah I saw you got another one!!!!! congratulations.... and nice to see that you were persistant... I hate losing deer.... its a sick feeling... but if you hunt long enough it is going to happen! the reason I normally dont like to shoot does this time of the year is for one I already have two deer in my freezer plenty enough meet to last me until next october, and if I shoot a doe now I am killing 2,3, or possibly 4 deer... and who knows in 3-4 years later we could have a trophy on our hands from that doe I didnt shoot.. ya know...sucks that the ODNR gets a free $24.... but the way I see that is we had the opportunity to do something that we love... but good luck to all who haven't tagged out and shoot straight!!!
