I use it quite a bit. I'm a super braid guy but switch to floroclear when temps are below freezing because water tends to freeze on the braid.

One trick I learned with the P Line is to soak the pony spool in hot tap water for 20 minutes before spooling onto the reel. This will make the line loose alot of it's "memory", reducing bird'snests, etc.

I really like the Flouroclear - it is a copolymer line which means it isn't all flourocarbon. It's a mixture of nylon with a flourocarbon coating so it is strong, much more invisible to fish than mono and it doesn't stretch as much. I use it for all my setups except my jig rod and my frog rod.

P-Line Flourocarbon is the real deal - it's flourocarbon through and through so it is stiffer than mono and has all the characteristics good and bad that true flourocarbon is known for.

Some of the P-Line stuff is stiff and full of memory, especially the CXXX Extra strong. Really wads up if you're not careful with a baitcaster and can be a pain with wind knots and such on a spinning reel.

My 2 cents...

I did a P-Line test last year. Put Fluoroclear on 2 reels and CXXX strong on 2 reels (all spinning reels, same model & size). They both worked very well, low memory, easy casting, good knot strenght, no snarls. The only difference I could tell was slightly more stretch to the CXXX, but that was very slight and could have been just me anticipating more stretch.

I bought a 3000yd spool of CXXX Strong a few weeks ago because I got a great deal on it ($25). But I would have bought Flouroclear too if I could have gotten that price.
