I asked a few fisherman who were done for the day, how they did and what they were using. The time they took to talk to me and to explain in detail how to fish a vibe, that was much appreciated. I also talked one with good looking Ranger boat, he said make sure if I order one get the hull in Gel coat, and explained the reasons. Also talked to a bass fisherman, who said the bass where deep in at least 18 to 20 feet of water. He was using Jigs and Rattle traps. Another one told me where he was fishing and that he was not anchored but drifting and depth he caught the fish in. One last person stopped by me before I headed to the ramp and remarked what a great setup I had a great looking Ranger. He said he was envious. Its nice that their are so many fisherman who are friendly and willing to pass on tips and suggestions. I learned one other thing on Tues and that is when I see a straight line under my transducer that is a fish and more lines mean more fish. I always thought you look for arches, but not true when your drifting slow or anchored. I hope to make at least 4 to 5 more trips to Mosquito before I winterize my boat next Friday. I am thinking of selling and getting a new 2017, but would have to keep my boat until the spring, Not sure what I will do.
