Got to fish with my good friend Bob today. We set lines at 8:30 on the east side of the dump and headed north, the first hour was very slow with only a couple fish. When we hit 52 fow we found a good pod of fish, and worked them back and forth a couple times till we had our two man limit of 20 to 25 inch fish. Dipseys and spoons were hot again, 1 at 90 with chicken wing was our best, 3 from 80 to 125 got some fish also. Speed was around 2.8 mph and the water temperature was still 68 degrees. No bugs, what a great day in October.

They have not done anything to the ramp yet. We used it a couple weeks ago and it is still the two lanes, but the east side is so full of weeds that no one was using it. I have been launching up the river.

We had a similar trip today, a little west of where you fished (34-14 area). Pulled out an old spoon on a hunch to replace a spoon they weren't eating and it caught 4 fish in about an hour. Anyone remember Evil Eye spoons? I put it on because it has a wider body, more like a shad. The middle of the spoon is a lot more silver than it shows in the photo.
