internet not needed looking to OGF

planning a little trip that I would like to add some fishing but with the info I found or lack of may just leave poles at home I'm asking for info here for anyone that fished Chain of Lakes Winter Haven FL

Lake with bank access Bait store I checked as I said on Google and I used Google earth on some of the lakes only to be disappointed in the lack of seeing any access or parking

Just parking and access and a bait store info would be nice I'll find the fish so don't need sweet spots

and yes I know all about the gators so for git about it I'm Italian I'll make some shoes and a hand bag for the wife after I take the gator back to the hotel and make him tell me where the fish are

I believe it but need access to the lake and parking close for this old man have you fish the chain Tom

Don’t think there will be a lot of bank fishing there. Don’t recall a lot of it back in the 80’s. A lot of the shorelines were reed lined. FL population has exploded since then. So much development. But, with all the canals and bridges, there should be a great deal of fishing to be had. Take your rods and see what presents itself. My quick search showed a half dozen bait shops in winter haven. Caribbean Bay, Salt Strong, Country Boys and Winter Haven B&T. May not be what yr looking for though.

thank you I appreciate the reply my search turned up the same as you but once looking a little further some of the bait store listed was 30 to 50 miles from Winter haven some were manufacterers of lures and correct on reeds lined pasted by there in July of this year and I used google earth to locate spots along some of the lakes boat ramps and piers and found very limited Now if you had a $$$$$$ Boat you have unlimited access
