for the money you want to spend,you can't go wrong with the mitchells or shimanos.
judging from your posts(yes,i read almost all of them,LOL)my guess is,for your type fishing,the mitchell 308 or a 1000 size shimano would be as large as i would personally want,unless you are looking for ultra light.in that case,310 or 500 size do the job.
i've been using mitchell and/and or shimano for 40 years and for the price,i won't have anythingh else.andd if they hold up to the misfit test,they can't be bad
if you have the money,there are great higher priced reels.but limited to what you say,you could spend 25-30 bucks on much worse
any of those reels can be found for that price(mitchells are normally $40,but often on sale for 30.

ps........though i could cough up more for other reels,iat this point i have at least 3 mitchells and 5 shimanos(spinning).
