Hey all,
I love, love, love to fish the cricks/streams/rivers for smallmouth, muskies, and northerns. The access to these kinds of places are very limited in my experience. I am mostly familiar to the water that flows directly into the Ohio in Monroe/Belmont counties. I typically wade, but I can only cast from the bank when I bring my little babydoll.
I am wondering about any easy accesses to the Tusc., Stillwater, and any other small water that holds smallies/pike/muskies where I could fish from the bank and have my daughter's stroller or wheelchair? She is almost 4, but unable to walk or sit up independently. As you can tell in the pics, she's my fishin/explorin buddy. I live around Quaker City and I can't travel much more than hour away due to medical necessity, but really want to get her out more as she gets older to experience the good life! Any help at all would be appreciated, thank you!

Tappan Lake has a nice ramp that takes you out to a dock that you can fish from that might suit your needs. There are rails around the dock with enough room to suit you and your daughters fishing needs. It is right off SR 250 with gravel lot. Never fished it but it is a nice set up for shore anglers. GOOD LUCK fishing where ever your travels take you and your daughter.

there is a spot to fish the Tuscarawas river behind Buehlers in New Philadelphia. You can park behind the store and easily get to the river from the parking lot. I have no idea what they catch in that area but I see people fishing from the shore all the time
