The 05 line is the GPS coordinate 42.05 North. GPS numbers show the north/south number first then the east/west number next.

 

The 05 line is about 12 miles north of the marina. The 06 line is another mile north.

 

My weather app shows 13 mph winds but only .4 foot waves and 1-2 swells. in Geneva tomorrow morning. I figured that must wind would cause more waves/swells. Not sure what to expect.

Thanks for advice went out for about 5 hours this morning started at 04. only managed 5 , but they where all good size . all on green/purple small spoons w/dipsey's magnum #3 setting 200ft and #1 Setting 150ft. Judging by radio traffic no one was doing all that great this morning

 

the 1st 2 middle numbers on the north and south is what you go by. once you get to the 00 its another mile to the next number like 01 02 03 and so on. if there going out to the 05.0 and trolling north that's where you want to start if your trolling north. if your going to troll south you might want to run on out to say the 08.0 and troll south.



if you were using the mag dipsies you were probably trolling to deep. the standard diver with rings you would have been about right. it's better to run above the fish than below them. they tend to come up to feed but rarely go down.
