Game warden checking boats at mosqiito

I pulled into the causeway state park launch (no docks still). When two game warden trucks pulled in behind me. Had a nice conversation w our new game warden about some issues on the lake. He stated he is going to be in full force on the lake this year. Later we saw him checking boats on the north end in a flat bottom drab painted duck boat.

Glad to hear he'll be out patrolling the lake. Did you ask him if he was a OGF member? Docks at the causeway launch are suppose to be going in Monday.

Are any of them members? Most of the State people I've talked to seem to have little regard for our OGF "expert" opinions or "suggestion".

Could you imagine if they were to walk the causeway at night right now. It would take them hours to get though all the people checking licensing and crappie size limits.

He told me he has been and wrote quite a few tickets. I guess he also nailed a couple guys way over there limit late ice this year.

Can you blame them with all the bashing that goes on here? It is much worse on other websites.
